Since obtaining a Fine Art degree in 2000, Sandra has successfully shown her work in exhibitions in Chichester and the Arundel Gallery Trail.
She has continued to paint mainly figurative works in her preferred medium of Egg Tempera. With the emphasis of light being of utmost importance in the paintings, her developed method of applying Egg Tempera in many translucent layers gives each painting a unique luminosity,
Sandra has also experimented with making her own paints using a natural pigment and acrylic medium mix. This method has proven to produce similar results to the Egg Tempera.
Now, after retiring from her post as an Adult Education Art Tutor, Sandra continues to teach painting in all mediums and subject matter in her studio at The Thatched Barn in Wepham, Arundel.
