"Taking inspiration from wildlife in its natural habitat."
Paul Jenkins
Paul was born in 1949 in the West Midlands. He started his career in art during the early 1970s, sculpting in wood and then drawn to sculpting in clay and wax.
Within five years of completing a course in Ceramics at Dudley College of Art, Paul had a growing customer base of art galleries, private collectors and the general public and he began to concentrate on more exclusive art work. He then went on to work as a commercial designer for various companies throughout the world, including the Metropolitan Museum, New York.
As well as creating some more outlandish pieces, Paul's inspiration comes from his love of nature, especially animals. Many of his pieces are inspired by direct observations of wildlife in its natural habitat.
