Arundel Gallery Trail  -  When the whole town becomes a Gallery  .  .  .

The 2009 Arundel Gallery Trail takes place between August 22nd and the 31st, alongside the other great happenings of the Arundel Festival and this year is set to be the best Trail yet ! Over 100 artists and makers of various types will be taking part. Sculptors, painters, printers, ceramicists and jewellers are amongst the many exhibitors showing this year, giving you the opportunity to meet and talk with the artists, whilst discovering many of Arundel's beautiful period homes.

The event is an essential part of the South's art calendar, drawing together a wide range of established artists, as well as showcasing much unknown local talent.

This year, we give special recognition to the late post-war potter, Derek davis, one of the Gallery Trail's founding members who inspired so much creative energy in Arundel. Visitors to the Trail are invited to vote for their favourite work from those nominated for the 'Derek Davis Prize'  .  .  .  sponsored by Arundel.org.uk  See the Arundel Gallery Trail brochure for details.

The Trail draws over 10,000 visitors.

Be prepared to discover all styles of media, including paintings, prints, sculptures, textiles, decoupage, stained glass, ceramics and jewellery.

During the ten day period, you can wander from venue to venue. Entry is FREE * and it's a great day out for art collectors and enthusaists alike.

Pick up a Trail map at any venue. Use it to plan your art adventure or simply join the Trail at any point. Just look out for the venue flags.
